Popeye's Chicken to re-open in Evansville | Restaurants
Popeye's Chicken, which had a location on North First Avenue briefly several years ago, is reportedly returning to that same location.
14 News has confirmed that the quick service restaurant will re-open in the next couple of weeks at 3300 North First Avenue.
Founded in 1972 in New Orleans, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is the world's second largest quick-service chicken concept, next to KFC. The company has over 2,000 operating restaurants in the United States, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Cayman Islands and 26 foreign countries.
The company has restaurants in Mt. Vernon, IL, Paducah, KY and several locations in Louisville.
