Highway 41 back open after crash in Vanderburgh Co. | News

VANDERBURGH CO., IN (WFIE)- A section of U.S. 41 in Vanderburgh County has reopened following an accident Wednesday night.
The sheriff's office tells us a car rear ended a semi around 9:30 p.m. near Mt. Pleasant Road.
We're told the driver of the car was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Witnesses say she was driving erratically before the wreck.
It took about 45 minutes to cut her out of the vehicle.
Southbound lanes of 41 were shut down for a few hours while crews pulled the car out from under the semi.
The truck driver was not hurt.
The cause of the wreck is under investigation.
