DAMAGE PHOTOS: Storm takes its cut at north side | News
Thursday night's storm packed a pretty good punch north of Evansville, taking out this large tree and bringing other branches down at a home on Old State Road, not far from North High School.
Several homes in the area also had tree branches fall on them, causing some damage.
At the new North High School, portions of the athletic fields also took a hit.
We’re told the tennis courts were damaged, a light pole snapped in half, fencing was ripped, the school’s band trailer was blown over with instruments inside and padding for the pole vault pit was torn up and strewn about the grounds.
We have a crew heading there soon.
