Evansville mom accused of DUI with 3-year-old in car | News

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE)- An Evansville mom has been arrested. Police say she was driving over four times the legal alcohol limit, with her young daughter in the car.
40-year-old Christal Dawn Houghon is being held in the Vanderburgh County jail without bond.
She faces several charges, including child neglect. Officers took her into custody after she crashed her car. Police say she took off after a property damage accident around 6 o'clock Tuesday night on Old Business 41.
They say her three year old daughter was in the car with her.
Officers say Houghton's blood alcohol level was .31%, and that this is not the first time she's been arrested for drunk driving.
