Master Gardener Plant Sale set | Home & Garden
The Southwestern Indiana Master Gardener Association’s annual plant sale will take place on Saturday May 4 and Sunday May 5 at the Vanderburgh 4-H Center 201 E. Boonville-New-Harmony Road.
There will be over 20,000 plants, 40 varieties of tomatoes, as well as a large selection of annuals and perennials for both sun and shade and a selection of vegetables and herbs all raised by local Master Gardeners.
Over 25 different edible plants will be for sale. New perennials this year are Hosta Abiqua Drinking and Rainforest Sunrise Hosta.
SWIMGA is a non-profit organization of over 400 active area members trained through the Purdue Extension Service.
May 4 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
May 5 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
All proceeds go directly back into varied projects including more than 21 gardens cared for by volunteers at places like the Reitz Home, UE rose garden, Mesker Zoo and other public spaces.
