Aquatics class designed for breast cancer patients, survivors

Bob's Gym has launched an aquatics class designed by and specifically for breast cancer patients and survivors called Pink Ribbon Aquatics. The class, offered at Bob's Gym North and Newburgh, focuses on helping patients recover from surgeries and treatments, regain physical fitness, and provide social and emotional support. This is a brand new class created by Bob's Gym instructor and former radiology technician Kim Groves, herself a Stage IV breast cancer survivor.

Bob's Gym is offering this eight-week class to all breast cancer patients and survivors, regardless of membership to the gym. Non-members will pay a fee, and financial assistance is available in certain cases.

Classes meet at Newburgh on 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and 9 a.m. on Saturdays. Classes meet at North at 1 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. Registrants pick one of the two locations for their eight weeks.
