Recycling Day Saturday at fairgrounds | Events
On Saturday, February 23, the Vanderburgh County Solid Waste District will hold a drop-off recycling day at the 4-H Center Fairgrounds from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. The following items will be accepted for recycling:
newspaper
mixed household paper
cardboard
magazines & catalogs
aluminum cans
steel cans
glass containers #1 & #2 plastic bottles
The District has contracted with Wesselman Nature Society to operate the drop-off programs. The next recycling day will be held at old Walmart west on March 9.
