Evansville ARC to hold its first mini-golf outing | Events
Evansville ARC’s Child Life Center is hosting its inaugural Miniature Golf Outing for children of all ages.
Organizers say the golf outing will be held on Saturday, August 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Walther’s Golf & Fun Center.
The fundraiser, organized by the CLC’s Parent Advisory Board, includes mini-golf, one prize ticket and free unlimited drinks for every participant.
The volunteers on the Parent Advisory Board say they hope to raise at least $1,500 through registrations and sponsers to support the CLC's programs, staff, and other needs.
"We believe our children receive excellent care, but we know that funding for many nonprofits is not always where they want it to be," said Parent Advisory Board President Jennifer Gillbert. "This is one way we can help the teachers and the staff have the resources they need."
Registration is $10 per golfer.
"This event is a great way for children with and without disablities throughout the community to enjoy a special experince together, which is a part of what we do every day," CLC Director Laurie Seals said.
You can register by going online to Evansville ARC's website or by calling 812-428-5433.
