Parks Foundation gives $5,000 to Lloyd Pool | Community Spirit

The Evansville Parks Foundation, Inc. donated $5,000 to Lloyd Pool to purchase an AED, a guard chair, life jackets, a backboard, rescue tubes and kick boards.

A separate donation of $3000 was given to Swonder Ice Arena to supply new ice skates for the 2013 season

The mission of the Evansville Parks Foundation is to support and provide for facilities, improvements, and programs for parks and recreation in the Evansville area. Recognizing that a municipal budget can only provide for a basic level of maintenance and services, the Evansville Parks Foundation is able to generate funds for park improvements through its own fundraisers, grants and charitable donations from families, neighborhood groups and local business partners.
