Drury Inn looks for new chain to buy Evansville location | Business
The Drury Inn & Suites on U.S. 41, will be sold in an online auction on May 23.
“The Drury Inn & Suites will be delivered unencumbered by management and brand presenting an investor with an opportunity to run the hotel under a different national franchise,” said Douglas Johnson, Managing Director of CBRE Auction Services, which will conduct the sale.
The opening bid will be $1.95 million.
Johnson said Property Improvement Plans (PIPs) will be made available as they are received.
The Drury opened in 1980 as a four-story hotel. It is located two miles south of Evansville Regional Airport.
The online auction will be held on Wednesday, May 23, between 1 and 3 p.m. Central Time. Property inspections will be held on Wednesday May 1 and May 8 at 11:30 a.m.
