Deaconess Clinic at US 41 and Mt. Pleasant set to open in June | Business
As we reported last month, a new Deaconess Clinic is set to open in 2013 at a location north of the airport.
Construction is currently underway at 8600 N. Kentucky Avenue near US Hwy. 41 and Mt. Pleasant Road for Deaconess Clinic Mt. Pleasant. The 15,278 square-foot facility will house three family physicians, a nurse practitioner, a pediatrician, lab and radiology services, as well as space for clinical research.
Family physicians James Gutmann, Michael Myers, and nurse practitioner Tammy Hargett, will move from their current clinic location at 1137 W. Mill Road to the north side facility. They will be joined by family medicine physician, Lauren Flittner, upon completion of her Deaconess Residency Program. Pediatrician Michael Crecelius will also move from his current location at Deaconess Clinic Downtown to Deaconess Clinic Mt. Pleasant.
Deaconess says the construction of the new clinic is in direct response to the high rate of population growth on the north side.
