Holiday Inn Evansville Airport wins renovation award | Business
Evansville's Holiday Inn Airport on US 41 North (formerly the Marriott) has earned a major award for its $3 million facelift earlier this year. The 2012 Renovation Award was presented by InterContinental Hotels Group.
Omninet Capital accepted the honor for the hotel during the 2012 IHG Americas Investors & Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida. The Holiday Inn Airport was one of 37 hotels nationwide to receive the award.
$3 million worth of renovations were completed under Omninet and the hotel management company, Crescent Hotels & Resorts.
- All guest rooms feature new furniture, flat-screen televisions, bedding, and enhanced bath
- Modernized suite, lobby, and atrium
- Renovated exterior
- Full restaurant renovation including new dining tables and chairs
- Fully renovated lounge area with a new design and new furniture
Following the renovations, the hotel held their Grand Opening on September 12 with over 350 attendees, representing several local residents, local businesses, and corporate clients.
