New Italian restaurant opening along Hwy 41 | Business
A new Italian restaurant is set to open soon on Evansville’s north side. Pizano’s Pasta & Pizza will move into the former Diner 41 location along Highway 41 at Yokel Road, next to the Motel 6.
The new owner says she’s aiming to open the family-friendly restaurant on June 15, though that date isn’t official yet. She plans to offer homemade pasta as well as thin crust pizza with fresh toppings.
Some of the entrees that will be served at Pizano’s include stuffed manicotti with a homemade filling, shrimp scampini, shrimp and chicken alfredo, spaghetti and meatballs and crab cakes. Hand-cut mozzarella sticks and mushrooms will be on the appetizer menu. As for dessert, the owner says tiramisu will be made fresh daily. Customers can also try cannoli with homemade filling. Beer and wine will be available, too.
The restaurant’s owner says the average price of an entrée, including a soft drink and tax, will be around $15.
