Music will fill the air at North High School on Saturday, Nov. 19, when the school hosts “Night of Memories.” The event, which begins at 7 p.m., is open to the public and will feature six musical groups from North High School, including the Concert Band with alumni accompaniment, Concert Choir, Concert Orchestra, Jazz Combo, Green Brigade, and special selections of alumni vocal and instrumental ensembles. Alumni of the school’s musical groups are invited to participate.
Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for students and children five and under are free. Advance tickets and more information about how to be an alumni participant are available at North High School or by calling 435-8283.
Instrumental Music Director Stephen Shelley, Vocal Director Andrea Drury and Jane Bernhardt decided to host the event as a send off to the current North High School. In January, North High School students will begin attending school at the New North High School, which is currently under construction in northern Vanderburgh County.
